This page explains how to upload projects to your nControl account and how to download them from the account on another computer.

This article assumes you have a 4DBrix account and you have configured nControl to access it. If that's not the case, the article Linking nControl to Your 4DBrix Account explains in detail how to do that.

To upload a project:

• Start by opening the project you want to upload by selecting File>Open Project... in the main menu.
• The project will be uploading with a title and description. You can customize those in the Project Information dialog box which you can open by selecting Edit>Project Settings... in the main menu. The description and title are optional, if no title and/or description is present nControl will use a default one.
• Upload the project by selecting File>Upload Project... in the main menu. This will open the Upload Project dialog box which will present the basic information of the project you're about the upload. Click the Upload button to upload the project file to your account.
  
  
  
• The dialog box will show the progress of the upload. When the project is uploaded, close the dialog box using the Close button.
  
  

To download a project from your account:

• Select File>Download Project... in the main menu. This will open the Download Project dialog box which contains a list of all the project files that are available for download.
  
  
• Click on the project you want to download. The dialog box will show the progress of the download.
  
  
• Close the dialog with the Close button once the file is downloaded.
• You will find the downloaded file in your default project folder. You can customize that folder in the nControl Settings dialog box: File>Settings>Application>Folders>Project.

You can manage the projects on your account using your Control Panel.

• Go to the 4DBrix website, scroll to the footer and click on Control Panel in the Account column.
• Enter your E-Mail address, Password, check the CAPTCHA verification check box and click the Log In button.
  
  
• This will take you to your control panel which shows a list of all the uploaded projects. It also shows the amount of available disk space that you have used. You can delete a projects from your account by clicking on the buttons. Deleted projects cannot be recovered; if you want them back you have to reupload them with nControl.
  
  
• To log out of the control panel, click on the icon in the upper right corner.
